Domain Registrars: Your name, address, and contact details are required to register your domain name.
Payment Processors (e.g., Stripe): We share your payment details securely with authorized payment processors to handle automated monthly billing.

5. Client Website Data (Important for WaaS Model)
As part of your subscription, we host your website. Your website may collect data from your visitors (e.g., contact form submissions, e-commerce transactions).

  • Our Role: For this data, SiteNow acts as a data processor. We follow security procedures to keep the data on our servers safe.
  • Your Responsibility (The Client's Role): You are the data controller. You are responsible for ensuring your website's forms and tracking comply with privacy laws (e.g., obtaining consent from your visitors) and for managing any data you collect from your customers.

6. Data Security and Retention
We implement robust security measures, including SSL encryption and controlled access, to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or accidental loss.

  • Retention: We only keep your personal details for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal or accounting requirements. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain necessary billing records for compliance purposes before securely deleting or anonymizing your project data.
